the region in a popular and entertaining exploration of modern
country music. The show moves quickly with early stars from
Memphis and Nashville – Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Johnny
Cash and Dolly Parton – on a tour that keeps toes tapping all the
way to the songs of modern country music hit makers.

Along the way, the Hometown Country Radio Show ventures west
to the Southern California country-rock of the early 1970’s with
music from artists such as the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt and Poco.

Dwight Yoakum and Merle Haggard have had on the hit music we
