Guest speakers- Art Pimentel-, President of Folsom Lake College and Sarah Koligian- Superintendent of Folsom Cordova Unified School District Dr. Sarah Koligian- Superintendent of Folsom Cordova Unified School District. Sarah has spent over 34 years in public education and started her tenure as Superintendent of Folsom Cordova Unified School District in July 2017. Before joining Folsom Cordova, Dr. Koligian was superintendent of Tulare Joint Union High School District, where she led award-winning efforts to create personalized pathways for students in healthcare, engineering, art, and agriculture. Prior to that, Dr. Koligian served as superintendent of Golden Valley Unified School District in Madera County. She began her teaching career as a Resource Teacher at Madison Elementary School in Fresno’s Central Unified School District and held several administrative positions over the twenty years spent there. Dr. Koligian has been a member of ACSA (Association of California School Administrators) for over 20 years, completed the ACSA Superintendent’s Academy in 2004, and has served on several ACSA statewide committees. She currently serves on the Board of Directors to the Folsom Tourism and Economic Development Board and is a member of the City of Rancho Cordova Community Council.CHAMBER: Meet the Leaders 5/25

Art Pimentel, Ed.D.- President Folsom Lake College
Art has over 18 years of experience in higher education. His experience includes leadership of student and instructional services, public policy, fiscal management, marketing, community outreach, enrollment management, facilities management, government relations as well as institutional and strategic planning. Art believes in equitable access to higher education for all students and the importance of developing organizational ecosystems that focus on equity, anti-racism, and student achievement. In addition to his career in higher education, Art has held several elected and regional leadership positions. He was elected to the Woodland City Council and served from 2004-2008, elected Mayor of Woodland in 2008-2012, and served on the Woodland Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees in 2014. Art also served as the Chairman for the Yolo County Transportation District, Yolo-Solano Air Quality District, and the Cleaner Air Partnership of Sacramento. Additional Info
